The 37-mile Northwest Arkansas Razorback Greenway between Fayetteville and Bella Vista officially opened May 3 to fanfare from almost every trailhead on the route.
The Greenway is a bike aficionado, runners dream, and hiking-best bet. Don’t stop there— the trails and loops are dog (on leash), family, and wheelchair friendly. A variety of loops crisscross communities pearled along the belt, offering shopping, local restaurants, farmers markets, and art (think Crystal Bridges) along the trail. Check out the May issue of DoSouth, Northwest Arkansas Times Democrat Gazette May 3 spread, and the Free Weekly for different perspectives on the opening. Gotta love northwest Arkansas.
